About Derek Winstead

Derek Winstead is a computer programmer developing applications in multiple languages for different purposes.

Derek has been developing applications in ColdFusion for over five years managing internal/external websites with over 700 users. He has managed multiple SQL databases with a relational database model connected throughout many dedicated servers. He has also been developing applications and windows services in C# (ASP.Net) for over two years.

Derek has received two certifications of accomplished programming in C# for "Windows Forms 2.0 Programming Using C#" and "Advanced .NET Framework Programming Using C#". While writing programming applications he has also managed multiple E-Commerce websites that are connected to accounting software keeping track of inventory, shipments, payments, and invoicing all automatically.

Derek has earned his Associates in Arts (A.A.) from St. Petersburg College (SPC). He is currently finishing his dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the University of South Florida (USF) with a Minor in Mathematics.
